Path to make Children's Day a self funded event for as many funding can generate.
Children’s Day is a day for the child in us all and has been going on for 18 years running. The event has received for that nearly 2 decade long struggle proclamations and awards from many cities and the State Of California that has made it an official day in the last weekend in April state wide. Today Children’s Day has outreach in the following cities.
Children’s Day USA has been a program funded out of pocket primarily by Summer Hansen but today struggles to make ends meet so faces closing operations in some cities. Our desire is to make the minimum cost of this event be self funded by replicating our pilot (see below), and using the financial benefits normally given to investors and contributors to be given directly to support the growth of Children’s Day USA. We have reviewed the finical records of Children’s Day USA and developed a path we hope will be successful in funding programming in many cities. We hope you will not only see the wisdom in supporting Children’s Day USA but supporting expanding our program as well.
Our work with our pilot family resulted in a 15% net reduction in the cost of living for our client and produced an income of 10K a year for 2 years generating a taxpayer savings of 8K and his resume is being improved. Further more the larger family that we aided produced a 50% return on investment all backed by the full faith and credit of the United States. The pilot can be replicated many times over and is partnered with a network that represents 10 Million People in 10 countries (Neighborhood Church Coalition). If we are successful we can bring this program to our national partnership for raid expansion.
According to records dating back 10 years Children’s Day, as an event costs no more than $4,000 per year to put on. A single 40,000 sponsorship into the Visionary Projects fund will produce an annual return to put on up to 3 events for the next 5 years. That includes paying 10% to the fundraiser / marketing firm. We show that the 36,000 under our plan will produce 900 a month or 10,800 per year.
